This role involves managing relationships with various financial professionals, understanding their needs, and supporting their business development through various initiatives.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Training & Development:
  • Train newly empaneled IFDs on the effective use of digital platforms and mobile apps.
  • Provide knowledge on primary market products including Mutual Funds, New Fund Offers (NFOs), Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs), Capital Markets products, Bonds, and Corporate Fixed Deposits.
  • Organize events to foster business development for IFDs.
  • Empanelment & Relationship Management:
  • Identify and empanel Chartered Accountants (CAs), ex-bankers, ex-wealth advisors, insurance agents, and other finance professionals as IFDs.
  • Acquiring new IFDs and advising them on primary market products.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with IFDs to drive ongoing sales.
  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Drive IFDs to achieve sales targets for financial products on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of IFDs' needs in primary market products and provide appropriate support.
  • Compliance & Certification:
  • Ensure that all activities comply with industry regulations.
  • The candidate must be NISM - VA certified.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) channel.
  • Previous experience in handling investment-related products such as Mutual Funds, Fixed Income, Life, and General Insurance.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Ability to train and motivate IFDs.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Educational Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent degree.

Personal Characteristics:

  • Dedicated and committed to achieving sales targets.
  • Proactive in organizing events and activities for business development.
  • Good understanding of client (IFDs) needs in primary market products.

Accountable to: Senior Management

Total number of employees supervised: Varies based on the number of IFDs empaneled and managed.
