From hyperlocal community engagement to AI-driven recommendations and scalable integrations with platforms like ONDC, Amealio is reimagining how people discover, connect, and experience life.We are now scaling our platform to serve millions of users with next-gen AI capabilities — and we’re looking for an Engineering Lead to drive this mission.Role OverviewAs the Engineering Lead, you will own the end-to-end technical leadership of Amealio’s AI-driven platform. You’ll guide a growing team of engineers, architect scalable solutions on the MERN stack with Next.js, and ensure smooth deployment and optimization on AWS cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and AI/ML teams to bring cutting-edge features to life while keeping performance, scalability, and reliability at the core.Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership & Architecture - Lead design and implementation of scalable, high-performance applications using MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React/Next.js, Node.js). - Architect solutions to handle millions of concurrent users, integrating AI-driven features seamlessly. - Define coding standards, best practices, and ensure high-quality code reviews. - AI & Platform Scaling - Work with AI engineers to productionize ML models within the platform. - Optimize APIs and microservices for speed, reliability, and cost efficiency. - Scale Next.js applications with server-side rendering (SSR) and edge deployments. - Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps - Oversee deployment, monitoring, and scaling on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.). - Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation). - Drive observability and reliability practices (logging, monitoring, alerts). - Team & Stakeholder Collaboration - Lead and mentor engineers; build a strong technical culture. - Work closely with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into engineering deliverables. - Provide technical direction on feature prioritization, scalability trade-offs, and long-term roadmap.-Required Skills & Qualifications- Strong expertise in MERN stack and Next.js (SSR, SSG, edge deployments). - Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, IAM). - Proven track record of scaling applications to large user bases. - Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, GraphQL/REST, and real-time data handling (WebSockets, Kafka, or similar). - Experience integrating or deploying AI/ML models into production environments. - Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Nice to Have- Experience with agentic AI frameworks and orchestration. - Exposure to ONDC integrations, e-commerce, or hyperlocal platforms. - Familiarity with serverless architectures and edge computing. - Knowledge of security best practices for scaling consumer applications.Why Join Amealio?- Be part of a fast-growing startup shaping the AI-driven experience economy. - Lead cutting-edge AI and web scaling challenges with autonomy and ownership. - Work with a passionate team on a mission to transform how communities eat, travel, and connect. - Competitive compensation, ESOP options, and growth opportunities.If you’re excited about leading engineering teams to build scalable AI-first platforms, let’s talk.Apply at: careers@amealio.com
