Job Title : Java Support Engineer

Location : Pune

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Java Support Engineer to join our dynamic support team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, combined with excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing technical guidance to clients, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver timely solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Provide technical support to clients experiencing issues with Java-based applications or systems.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot software defects, configuration issues, and performance bottlenecks.

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide timely updates on issue resolution.

- Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and escalate critical issues, and contribute to the development of long-term solutions.

- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.

- Continuously improve support processes and tools to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience in Java development, including proficiency in Java programming language, JVM internals, and debugging tools.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Customer-focused mindset and dedication to delivering high-quality support services.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with enterprise-level Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) and application servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss).

- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Certification in Java programming or related technologies is a plus.
