Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator to join our IT team. As a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our :

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and related software.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

- Perform system upgrades, patches, and updates on a regular basis.

- Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access or breaches.

- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting manuals.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.

- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed.

- Automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.

- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for improvements to the existing infrastructure.

- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system emergencies outside of regular business hours.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum X years of experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role.

- Proficiency in Linux operating systems, including CentOS, Ubuntu, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

- Experience with system administration tasks such as user management, file system management, and network configuration.

- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM.

- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Certifications such as RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) or LPIC (Linux Professional Institute Certification) are a plus .
