• Educational Qualification: MBA – Finance or CA/CFA with NISM Capital Markets Certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee research initiatives with a dedicated focus on the Metal & Mining sector .

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of commodity cycles, global and domestic demand-supply trends, pricing movements (steel, aluminum, copper, coal, etc.), regulatory environment, and cost structures.

  • Track and assess mining capacity, resource life, ore grades, CAPEX cycles, and environmental/social governance (ESG) implications on metal & mining companies.

  • Build and maintain robust financial models for companies in the sector - including historical and forecasted balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements - along with DCF or residual income-based valuations.

  • Analyze key sector-specific metrics such as EBITDA per ton, realizations, RM/energy costs, export-import mix, and volume trends.

  • Develop actionable investment recommendations based on thorough analysis and strategic insight.

  • Maintain and nurture strong relationships with institutional investors including asset managers, pension funds, and PE firms focused on commodities and natural resources .

  • Guide and mentor junior analysts in developing deep expertise in the metal & mining industry , including understanding global market linkages and operational levers.
