About the Founder

Priya Prakash is a healthcare entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of HealthSetGo. She has been recognized as Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia & India - Healthcare & Sciences, and has been the recipient of the Global Citizen Prize, Cartier Women's Initiative Awards, and Unilever Young Entrepreneur Award. Priya is the Founding Curator of the Gurgaon Hub of the World Economic Forum, Advisory Council Member, Orygen Global, and a Member of the Future Generations Commission on Health and Climate Change . Additionally, she’s a State Level Olympic Weightlifting Champion, avid health blogger and has been featured in various national and international publications for her work. Priya holds a degree in Mathematics from Lady Shri Ram College, and an education in Social Entrepreneurship from INSEAD.

Roles & Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a skilled Finance Associate to join our company. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial recording, reporting and analysis. You will be critical in driving strategic financial management and ensuring the company's financial health and compliance. If you have a strong background in finance and a passion for the startup ecosystem, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.


A detailed day today would look like the following:


Recording and Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Record daily financial transactions in the accounting software.

Invoice Management

  • Generate and send invoices to clients and customers.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding invoices for timely payments.
  • Maintain an organized system for invoice storage and retrieval.

Reconciliation

  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Financial Reporting

  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Provide input to financial data analysis as required.

Administrative Support

  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.

GST Compliance

  • Prepare and file GST returns in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile GST input and output data to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in responding to any GST-related queries or audits.


Background Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance operations or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
