Key Account Manager


About The Media Ant :

- The Media Ant is a 10-year-old company in the AdTech space.

- We aim to disrupt the traditional process of executing ad campaigns through a physical media agency and replace it with a self-serve advertising platform.

- The platform should work equally well for both online and offline media.

- This platform will empower any advertiser, irrespective of their budget and level of marketing understanding, to be able to go ahead and launch a campaign.

- The Media Ant is the winner of various startup awards and is used by more than a million users every year.

- The Account Management (AM) team generates new business opportunities and expands business from existing clients.

- The primary objective of this role is to drive Sales to meet targets and establish strong client relationships.

- The primary role of the AM department is to identify potential brands/companies, execute new Sales initiative, and ensure the retention of the existing ones.

- In the process of onboarding and retention, the AM team is also exposed to campaign planning and execution based on the client's brief.

- This team works as an extended marketing arm for brands and all the actions strongly exhibit a Customer-First approach.

- This team's focus is to solve customers' problems related to advertising/marketing and grow the sales number of The Media Ant.

The role has 3 distinct areas of responsibility :

- Day to Day work.

- Relationship Management.

- Identify/map new brand/company basis trends, market knowledge, current advertisers.

- Make connections with the concerned person at the identified brand/company to drive and meet the Sales target.

- Develop deeper insight into clients businesses, identify their marketing problems, and prepare a campaign brief.

- Create customized solutions linked to their marketing objective and educate the brand on the same.

- Explain to the brand why the plan would make sense and onboard the client.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that the campaigns are performing/executed as per the commitment.

- Coordinate with clients for smooth flow of work and reporting of ongoing advertising campaigns.

- Ensuring that the monthly/yearly revenues targets are being achieved.

- Preparing Daily Task Reports.

- The work hours are equally split between answering emails/calls and campaign execution & campaign planning.

- Ensuring a strong Sales pipeline of business at any time.

- Relationship Management.

- Forge strong business relationships with the clients.

- Build a culture of high performance & innovation in the team.

Must-Have :

- 2-5 years of experience in a client-facing role (B2B).

- Problem solver Ability to understand the problem and develop solutions in an ambiguous environment.

- Agility Willingness to quickly learn and adapt to a fast changing environment.

-Strong communication Excellent verbal and written English language capability.

- Good logical reasoning, arithmetic, and analytical abilities.

- Working knowledge of MS Excel & PowerPoint.

- People management and team handling skills.

- Ability to carry out a quick online research to find insights/data.

- Quick to observe - Trends in the market, Campaign issues, client expectations, team issues.

Good to have :

- Prior experience in team management.

- Experience in hiring and building team.

- Advertising/Media sales experience.
