About the Role We’re looking for a Lead AI Engineer who can drive the end-to-end execution of GenAI and Agentic AI solutions for our customers. If you’re deeply self-motivated, technically strong, and want to wear the AI Planet badge with pride as we democratize AI for the world, read on.While this is a customer-facing role, you’ll also play a critical part in building our core backend systems, translating customer insights into product evolution.What You’ll Do Work closely with customers to design and deliver custom AI use cases and solutions that drive real business value. Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of backend and AI systems powering the AI Planet platform. Design and optimize large-scale GenAI and AgenticAI pipelines - including LLM fine-tuning, embeddings, personalization, and conversational agents. Build and scale backend infrastructure (APIs, microservices, data systems, and real-time services) to support enterprise-grade AI workloads. Mentor and grow a world-class AI engineering team, review code, enforce best practices, and foster a culture of learning and ownership. Collaborate with customers, the delivery team, and the sales function to translate business goals into scalable AI architectures. Continuously research, experiment, and integrate advancements in LLMs, GenAI, agentic workflows, and reinforcement learning.Must Have Qualifications: 5-7+ yearsof professional experience in backend engineering and AI/ML systems. Proven experience building2–3 production-grade RAG or Agentic AI applications . Expertise inPythonand modern backend frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask, etc.). Strong knowledge ofdatabases (SQL & NoSQL) ,cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) , andMLOps pipelines . Deep hands-on experience withmachine learning/NLP/LLM frameworks(PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.). Experience deployingscalable distributed systemsand optimizing performance. Strongproblem-solving skills , ownership mindset, and the ability to lead complex initiatives end-to-end.
