Job Description :We are excited to be partnering with a fast-growing US-based Fintech firm to build their high-performing India engineering team. We are on the lookout for a hardcore hands-on Full Stack Technology Lead who loves solving complex problems and building scalable fintech platforms. This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on senior technologist who loves writing clean code, mentoring tech teams, and solving complex fintech problems - all while working with Java, React, Spring, REST APIs, modern front-end frameworks, and highly scalable architectures.Location : Chennai Reporting to : Global CTO Overview : As a Full Stack Technology Lead, you will : - Lead and mentor a team of developers in building next-gen fintech products.- Own end-to-end technical design, architecture, and delivery.- Code hands-on in Java, React (or Angular), and modern backend frameworks.- Work directly with the global CTO and product teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and performant technology solutions.Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.- Design and implement intuitive front-end interfaces using React (preferred) or Angular.- Architect microservices-based solutions for scalability and fault-tolerance.- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive quality practices like unit testing and CI/CD.- Mentor junior developers, conduct technical interviews, and contribute to team growth.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies in an Agile/Scrum setup.Tech Stack : - Backend : Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs- Frontend : React (preferred), Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript- Database : SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB is a plus)- DevOps & Tools : Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure (any cloud experience is a plus)- Others : Jira, Agile/Scrum methodologiesRole Qualification : - 8-12 years of hands-on experience in full stack development.- Proven expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and front-end frameworks.- Experience in building and deploying microservices architectures.- Ability to lead and mentor development teams in an Agile environment.- Strong coding, debugging, and architectural skills - not a people manager, but a coder at heart- Excellent communication skills - ability to work with global stakeholders.Nice to Have : - Exposure to fintech or payments domain.- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging queues.- Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).- Prior experience working with US-based or remote global teams.Why Join Us ?- High-growth, product-driven fintech environment- Direct impact on global product development- Work with a globally distributed and highly talented tech team- Leadership opportunity with continuous learning & mentorship- Attractive compensation & equity (for the right candidate) (ref:hirist.tech)
