Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ticketing Executive to join our team in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and the ability to manage travel ticketing operations efficiently, ensuring smooth travel arrangements for our experiential learning tours.
Key Responsibilities
Travel Ticketing:
- Book and manage tickets (air, rail, bus) for students, facilitators, and staff using GDS platforms and other booking tools.
- Handle itinerary changes, cancellations, and rescheduling promptly.
- Coordinate with airlines, travel agencies, and booking platforms for cost-effective and timely travel solutions.
Vendor Liaison and Negotiation:
- Develop and maintain relationships with travel vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate competitive rates and favorable terms to optimize travel budgets.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of ticketing transactions, including bookings, invoices, and receipts.
- Generate and share regular updates on travel arrangements with the operations team.
Customer Service:
- Address travel-related queries from schools, parents, and facilitators efficiently.
- Resolve ticketing issues and travel disruptions promptly to ensure smooth experiences.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a diploma or certification in travel and ticketing is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in ticketing, travel coordination, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure the best deals and services.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
