Job Title: Quantity Estimator - Exterior Facade Systems

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Quantity Estimator with a strong background in Civil Engineering and a keen interest in exterior facade systems, particularly ventilated facade systems and ACM panel systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in quantity estimation, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in reading architectural drawings is essential, along with experience in AUTOCAD drafting and spreadsheet analysis. The ability to communicate effectively in English is mandatory, and familiarity with REVIT is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for exterior facade systems, focusing on ventilated facade systems and ACM panel systems.
  2. Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to determine material quantities, specifications, and cost estimates.
  3. Utilize AUTOCAD software for drafting and REVIT skills for enhanced collaboration and coordination.
  4. Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure alignment with project requirements and specifications.
  5. Apply past experience in working with facade systems to optimize material selection and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Analyze and evaluate material quantities, costs, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project objectives.
  7. Maintain comprehensive documentation of quantity estimates, material costs, and project specifications.
  8. Communicate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and suppliers to convey quantity estimation details and resolve any discrepancies.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to exterior facade systems, incorporating innovative solutions into quantity estimation processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  2. Proven experience in quantity estimation, particularly for exterior facade systems.
  3. Expertise in preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and material quantity estimation.
  4. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
  5. Past experience in working with exterior facade systems, with a focus on ventilated facade systems and ACM panel systems, is highly desirable.
  6. Proficiency in AUTOCAD drafting and REVIT skills are advantageous.
  7. Excellent spreadsheet skills for data analysis and cost estimation.
  8. Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  10. Enthusiasm for exterior facade systems and a willingness to stay updated on industry advancements and technologies.
