Position Overview TheIndustrial Engineering Managerwill lead the IE function across all production units, drivingprocess optimization, productivity enhancement, and cost efficiencythrough innovative methods and data-driven insights. The role involves developing standard operating procedures, implementing lean manufacturing systems, and mentoring the IE team to support continuous improvement and profitability. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage theIndustrial Engineering teamacross multiple units (cutting, stitching, finishing, packing). Develop and implementtime and motion studies ,SMV (Standard Minute Value)calculations, andcapacity planning modelsfor all production lines. Driveproductivity improvement initiativesand ensure achievement of cost, quality, and delivery targets. Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Planning teams to optimize line layouts, manpower deployment, and workflow efficiency. Leadlean manufacturing ,Kaizen , and5S initiativesto improve workplace efficiency and reduce waste. Implementline balancing ,bottleneck analysis , andmethod improvement techniques . Introduce and monitorperformance metrics (OEE, Efficiency %, DHU)and present analytical reports to management. Work closely with the merchandising and planning teams to supportnew style introductions , ensuring quick ramp-up and accurate costing. Provide training and mentoring to IE executives and supervisors to build technical and analytical capabilities. Leadcontinuous improvement projectsaligned with sustainability and ethical manufacturing standards. Supportautomation feasibility studiesanddigital IE tool implementationto enhance data accuracy and decision-making.Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s / Master’s degreein Industrial Engineering, Textile Technology, or Production Engineering. 12–18 yearsof experience in Industrial Engineering, preferably withinhome textiles, garments, or apparel manufacturing . Proven track record ofimproving productivity, reducing cost, and optimizing manufacturing operations . Hands-on expertise inSMV setting, layout design, time study, and capacity analysis . Strong understanding oflean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process re-engineering . Familiar withERP/MIS toolsand IE data analytics systems. Excellentleadership, analytical, and communication skills .
