Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of knitwear production, ensuring efficient processes, meeting deadlines, and achieving quality standards.

2.Team Leadership:

Manage and lead the knitwear production team, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement in team performance.

3.Fabric & Material Sourcing:

Work closely with the sourcing department to select high-quality knit fabrics and materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with design specifications.

4.Sample Development:

Collaborate with design and development teams to create knitwear samples, ensuring they meet creative briefs, functionality, and production feasibility.

5.Quality Control:

Ensure that all knitwear products are manufactured to meet the required quality standards, conducting regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting production issues.

6.Vendor & Supplier Coordination:

Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products that meet specifications and quality standards.

7.Production Planning & Scheduling:

Coordinate production schedules to ensure timely deliveries of all knitwear collections, working closely with other departments to prioritize orders.

8.Budget & Cost Control:

Monitor production costs and work within budgets while maintaining quality standards and maximizing efficiency.

9.Trend Analysis & Innovation:

Stay updated on emerging trends in knitwear and incorporate new techniques, designs, and materials into the production process.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field. Relevant experience in knitwear production may also be considered.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in knitwear management, with at least 2 years in a leadership position. Experience in fashion, apparel, or a related industry is preferred.

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of knitting machinery, production processes, and fabric types. Familiarity with software tools for design and production management is a plus.

Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with design, production, and sourcing teams.

2.Attention to Detail:

Exceptional attention to detail, especially with regard to fabric quality, fit, and finishing.

3.Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to address and resolve production challenges and quality issues quickly and efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with international suppliers and factories.

Understanding of sustainability and eco-friendly practices in knitwear production.

Knowledge of garment manufacturing software.
