We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with 7+ years of experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver (Java), backend validation with SQL, and API testing via Postman. The ideal candidate will design and maintain enterprise-scale automation suites, validate data integrity across services, and collaborate closely with Agile delivery teams. This hands-on role requires strong technical expertise in writing, debugging, and managing test scripts, alongside a structured approach to test design and defect triaging.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for complex and dynamic web UIs using Selenium WebDriver and Java.

- Build reusable page-object components and implement synchronization strategies (explicit waits) to handle dynamic DOM elements and exceptions.

- Validate backend data through writing and debugging complex SQL queries across Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server databases.

- Perform REST API testing using Postman, including setting headers/auth tokens, validating status codes, and asserting payload structures in JSON/XML.

- Manage test execution and reporting using JUnit/TestNG frameworks, utilizing annotations, test groups, and retry mechanisms.

- Handle dependency management and test lifecycle execution with Maven or Gradle.

- Author and collaborate on BDD feature files using Cucumber and Gherkin syntax.

- Document test cases, log defects, and update Agile boards efficiently using JIRA.

- Manage automation code repositories with Git/GitHub, including branching, rebasing, conflict resolution, and pull requests.

Skills :
