Title: Manager ComplianceLocation: ChennaiExperience: 2 - 5 YearsKey Skills: RBI GuidelinesNBFC background is mandatoryReporting To: Chief Manager ComplianceJob PurposeThe Manager Compliance will be responsible for understanding, implementing, and monitoring regulatory and statutory guidelines across the organization, ensuring full compliance with RBI and other applicable regulations.Key Responsibilities:- Monitor RBI guidelines on an ongoing basis; communicate requirements to process owners and clarify their queries.- Coordinate with process owners to implement regulatory directions within defined timelines.- Review new proposals, partner tie-ups, process changes, or policy change requests from stakeholders, providing guidance on compliance aspects.- Prepare, review, and update compliance-related policy documents.- Advise the Board and committees on RBI compliance matters and prepare requisite documentation.- Prepare and submit statutory returns to RBI or other regulators; provide support during audits and inspections.Qualifications & Experience- Semi-qualified or qualified CMA/CA/CS/Legal/MBA or any graduate with relevant experience in regulatory/RBI compliance.- 2 - 5 years of experience in NBFC compliance or regulatory roles.Key Skills & Competencies- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- People management and networking skills.- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines.- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Key RelationshipsReports To: Chief Manager - ComplianceInternal Stakeholders: Process Owners, Department Heads, Board Committees (ref:iimjobs.com)
