We are hiring for our client in Chennai. Exciting opportunity to build an amazing product. We are hiring aData Infrastructure Engineer (mid-senior level, 3–7 years)to take full ownership of our data systems as we scale. You’ll be thefirst dedicated hirein this space, with the mandate to modernize our data infrastructure for speed, cost efficiency, and reliability. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design and optimize pipelines, warehouses, and integrations while also shaping how new features are built to ensure data systems remain scalable and AI/ML-ready.Key Responsibilities: Own and optimize data infrastructure end-to-end forcost, performance, and reliability . Build and maintainETL/ELT pipelinesacross multiple internal and external sources. Designscalable data models and storage(partitioning, clustering, governance). Partner with product and engineering teams ondata architecture for new features . Lay the foundation foradvanced analytics and AI/ML pipelines . Track usage, set upmonitoring/alerts , and ensure uptime of critical data flows.What we’re looking for: 3–7 years indata engineering or infra-focused roles . Strong expertise inSQL and cloud data warehouses(BigQuery preferred, Snowflake, or Redshift). Hands-on withETL/ELT orchestration tools(dbt, Airflow, etc.). Proficiency inPythonfor data engineering. Experience withcloud platforms(GCP/AWS/Azure fine). Experience in a ISO27001 or SOC2 certifiedmulti-tenant SaaS or high-scale environment (Nice to have) Experience with real-time streaming (Kafka, Pub/Sub, etc.) and BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau).Soft Skills and Personality Traits: Strong and clear communication. High levels of ownership and initiative to actively seek and solve problems. Ability to think independently, but work collaboratively in a team.
