Systems Administrator

We are seeking a talented and experienced Systems Administrator with a strong background in Linux, networking, servers, cloud infrastructure, and virtualization technologies. This individual will be responsible for development of our AI infrastructure management products. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in systems administration and be well-versed in modern IT environments including cloud technologies, virtualization, and containerization.
Work from Home Compensation with 2-3 Years Experience - 6-7 LPA. Plus Annual Bonus. Please do not apply if compensation is not acceptable.
You'll work with our founders and US members plus off-shore cloud and AI team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop tools for configuration and maintenance of Linux-based physical and virtual systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.- Work with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization.- Configure and support virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to improve system efficiency and scalability.- Implement and monitor network configurations, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server performance, network connectivity, and cloud deployments.- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications and services.- Automate system tasks and deployments using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).- Regularly perform system backups, updates, and patches to ensure security compliance.- Monitor system performance and log data to detect and resolve issues proactively.- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions for critical systems and applications.- Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in systems administration with a focus on Linux-based environments.- Strong expertise in networking concepts and tools (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs).- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.) and related services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC).- Experience with server hardware management and configuration.- In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).- Proficiency in automation and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Experience with AI/ML tools is a plus- NVIDIA GPU experience is a plus- Ability to work and thrive in a start-up environment.
