Experience Required: 6 to 12 Years Education: B.E. in Mechanical / Automotive / Production EngineeringJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced ORVM (Outside Rear View Mirror) & IRVM (Inside Rear View Mirror) Design Engineer with a strong background in automotive mirror systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in design, development, and validation of ORVM/IRVM components for passenger vehicles, with a solid understanding of homologation, manufacturing processes, and design requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of ORVM & IRVM systems from concept to production. Ensure compliance with global homologation standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including styling, packaging, and manufacturing. Prepare and review 3D CAD models, drawings, and BOMs. Conduct design reviews and DFMEA for mirror systems. Interface with suppliers for tooling feasibility and manufacturing readiness. Support prototype development and testing activities. Address design changes and improvements based on feedback and validation results. Required Skills & Experience: 6–12 years of experience in automotive ORVM/IRVM design. Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA V5 preferred). Strong knowledge of mirror system components, materials, and mechanisms. Familiarity with vehicle integration, ergonomics, and styling constraints. Experience in homologation and regulatory compliance for mirror systems. Understanding of manufacturing processes like injection molding, painting, and assembly. Good communication and documentation skills.
