Position Summary:

As a D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our enterprise-level projects. With a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Finance modules with experience in finance systems implementation, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and implementing effective Dynamics 365 solutions.


This position demands an in-depth knowledge of D365 Finance application modules of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Bank Management, Inventory Management and Project Accounting module processes. Collaborating closely with different teams, you will ensure seamless integration and functionality of Dynamics 365 applications. You will work closely with Dynamics 365 Solution Architect in analyzing, designing, and implementing core modules within MS Dynamics Finance, Supply Chain management and other relevant modules.



Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional workshops and work closely with clients to gather requirements, understand business processes, and ensure the delivered solutions meet business expectations.

• Analyze business requirements and design Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions tailored to client needs.

• Work with the lead MS Dynamics solution architect in the implementation of Dynamics 365 applications (seamless integration across different modules, system configurations, data migration, testing and support activities)

• Document business requirements/user stories, System Requirement Specifications and develop functional design documents.

• Perform Fit-gap analysis and translating requirements into functional specifications and design documents

• Configure Dynamics 365 modules, ensuring alignment with business processes.

• Integrate Dynamics 365 with existing systems and third-party applications for comprehensive functionality.

• Provide training to end-users on implemented solutions and offer ongoing functional support to address any issues or queries

• Offer post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions

• Demonstrating in-depth functional knowledge of D365 Finance & Operations, with a specific focus on Financial Management processes

• Conducting functional testing of modifications and sub-processes during the implementation process.

• Identifying digital transformation opportunities by leveraging Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations and working with the technical team to address functional gaps.

• Participating in the development of gaps design documentation and technical specifications

• Provide functional processes guidance to testing teams and technical teams



Role Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as an D365 FO Financial Management modules functionalities

• Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 processes, frameworks, and tools.

• Strong understanding of D365 F&O applications design principles and implementation best practices

• Demonstrate an understanding of Transit industry domain processes, and policies relevant to the position, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Exhibit excellent communication skills, adept at articulating complex project and product issues in a clear and straightforward manner, ensuring understanding among stakeholders.

• Experience in D365 FO data management framework. (DMF) for Data migration, set up and copy configurations & Integration.



Skills & Competencies:

• Exhibit excellent communication skills, adept at articulating complex projects and technical issues in a clear and straightforward manner, ensuring understanding among non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to organize and lead core requirement elaboration and design workshops.

• Ability to collaborate seamlessly with project, corporate, and operations team members, optimizing processes during IT system development and deployment.

• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing the Microsoft suite of products, particularly MS Project and Excel, and showcase familiarity with software applications such as Visio Very adaptable – responds effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using good written and verbal communication skills.



Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.

• Prior experience in design and implementation of Finance management module functionalities.

• Strong experience in transforming client's business processes into D365 F&O enterprise solutions

• Experience in integrating Dynamics 365F&O with other systems and applications.



Qualifications/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in / Finance/Information Technology, or related fields is desirable.

• Microsoft certifications: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate certification is desirable.
