About the Role : We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Frontend Engineer to lead our frontend development team.You will be responsible for driving the technical vision, architecture, and execution of our web applications, ensuring top-notch user experience, performance, and scalability.As a lead, you will mentor engineers, collaborate closely with product and design teams, and shape the frontend strategy across our platform.Key Responsibilities : - Lead and manage the frontend engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high-quality output.- Architect, design, and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable frontend solutions.- Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into robust frontend applications.- Drive technical decisions on frontend frameworks, libraries, and tools (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)- Establish coding standards, best practices, and ensure code quality through reviews and automated testing.- Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.- Mentor and coach frontend developers to enhance their skills and career growth.- Monitor application performance and optimize for speed and responsiveness.- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend trends, technologies, and industry best practices.- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new frontend engineers.Qualifications : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).- 6+ years of professional frontend development experience.- 2+ years in a leadership or technical lead role.- Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.- Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Vuex, etc.)- Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.- Proficient in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.- Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Passion for mentoring and team leadership (ref:hirist.tech)
