Description :About the Role :We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Frontend Engineer to lead our frontend team and drive the development of highly performant, scalable, and user-friendly web applications.You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless digital experiences that delight our users.Key Responsibilities :- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex, high-quality frontend applications.- Architect scalable, maintainable, and reusable frontend systems and components.- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level frontend engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.- Collaborate cross-functionally with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to translate product requirements into technical solutions.- Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, security, performance, and accessibility.- Drive frontend technical strategy and advocate for user-centric design.- Own the frontend codebase, manage technical debt, and lead refactoring initiatives.- Establish and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and frontend development workflows.- Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability to the companys products.- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and production incidents.- Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline and automation for frontend builds and deployments.Required Qualifications :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.- Proven experience leading frontend teams or projects.- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar).- Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Vuex, etc.- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Testing Library).- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize frontend performance.- Excellent communication and leadership skills (ref:hirist.tech)
