Main Purpose

To lead and support ground seismic survey activities including planning, execution, quality control, and interpretation. The role involves ensuring survey operations are carried out efficiently and accurately, followed by robust geophysical data analysis and modeling to support exploration and development objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and design ground seismic surveys in alignment with project objectives.
• Oversee field execution of seismic surveys, ensuring adherence to technical and safety standards.
• Monitor and control survey operations to ensure timely and quality data acquisition.
• Identify operational and data quality gaps during survey execution and initiate corrective measures.
• Perform quality checks and validation of geophysical survey data.
• Interpret geophysical data to extract lithological and structural information.
• Develop geophysical models using survey results for subsurface characterization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated subsurface understanding.
• Prepare and present technical reports on survey findings and interpretations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in geophysics, with a focus on ground seismic surveys and data interpretation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of seismic survey design, execution, and quality control practices.
• Experience in geophysical data interpretation and modeling using industry-standard software.
• Proficient in identifying survey gaps and implementing quality improvement measures.
• Good understanding of lithological and structural interpretation from seismic data.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Prior involvement in onshore seismic operations across varied terrains.
• Exposure to integrated interpretation with well and geological data.
• Familiarity with GIS tools and seismic processing workflows.
