About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate SDET Lead to join our growing software development team.

- With over 13 years of experience, you will play a critical role in building and leading a high-performing team of Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs).

- You will be responsible for defining the overall test strategy, developing and implementing automated test frameworks, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of SDETs, providing coaching, guidance, and career development opportunities.

- Define the overall test strategy and vision aligned with product development goals.

- Design, develop, and implement automated test frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies (e. g. , Selenium, Appium, API testing tools).

- Ensure code quality and maintainability of automated test scripts.

- Partner with developers throughout the development lifecycle to identify and address potential issues early.

- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to understand testing requirements.

- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and other test documentation.

- Lead the execution and analysis of test results to identify defects and regressions.

- Champion best practices in test automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).

- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and tools in software testing.

- Manage and prioritize testing resources effectively.

- Communicate test progress and results effectively to stakeholders.

- Identify opportunities for test process improvement and automation.

Qualifications :

- 13+ years of experience in software development and testing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading an SDET team.

- Proven track record of successfully building and managing high-performing SDET teams.

- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies (e. g. , Agile, Waterfall).

- Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools (e. g. , Selenium, Appium, API testing tools).

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing tools.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

- Ability to mentor and motivate team members.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with exploratory testing and black-box testing techniques.

- Experience with white-box testing techniques (a plus).
