Position: Executive Client Services

Role Description

The NIIT Executive Client Services is responsible for achieving the overall business and learning goals for a defined region(s) or business unit(s). The person will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling arrangements for delivery of training programs, events and workshops, including all logistical support. The role is required to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and detailed activities in a time-intensive work environment. The role is accountable for realizing deep stakeholder engagement, driving business intimacy and collaboration for delivery of learning and business strategies.


The Executive Client Services responsibilities will include:

  1. Working closely with the regional delivery managers to provide service excellence
  2. Work closely with NIIT programme managers & project managers to ensure service levels are met
  3. Participate in performance review meetings (regional & global)
  4. Contribute to defining operational process for continuous improvements and adherence to service level agreements
  5. Build strong partnering relationship with NIIT and client regional stakeholders
  6. Engage with business stakeholders to efficiently manage large sourcing requirements in the region
  7. Engage with key suppliers to efficiently manage large sourcing requirements
  8. Educate & guide service requestors, managers and functional capability leads on the process systems & processes
  9. Educate & guide services requestors on value of using NIIT services, new learning methodologies and architecture
  10. Provide support and meaningful engagement to regional HR stakeholders in tailoring requirements
  11. Review performance and ensure quality standards are met by suppliers
  12. Provide updates to regional delivery managers and key business stakeholders on supplier engagements
  13. Provide additional onsite support to operations teams on a need basis
  14. Ensure onsite training event activities are performed as per the “Event Readiness Process/System”. Booking the venue for offsite activity or social events and Provide Emergency support / help for training
  15. Ensure the training Facilities are setup correctly and have the necessary equipment Management at facility. Communicate with instructors and outside vendors in both written and spoken correspondence. Coordinate and block Instructor’s dates & timing in line with the training and workshop calendars
  16. Arrange for the training materials, manuals, hand-outs and other instructional aids; arrange for equipment setup (like AV, toys, etc.) and refreshments.
  17. Manage the training logistics (training room booking, manage access, photographer, etc.) and sharing detailed information to participants and trainers in advance
  18. Monitor completion of training activities - Pre-work, Certificates
  19. Calibrate with Remote Coordinators for any changes/updates in the training event/program • Makes sure all arrangements are made for participants and trainers
  20. Communicates with venue staff/vendors; makes sure scheduled training breaks work with the facility’s meal schedule
  21. Ensure the Event Facilities are set-up correctly and have the necessary equipment along with clear messaging of class
  22. Escort external instructor in and out of training facility
  23. Participate in the kick-off of the program, administer the essential program briefings, calibrate with the speaker and stakeholders
  24. Communicate with the internal and external vendors, ready the Purchase Order whenever required.


The Executive Client Services will possess skills & qualifications:

  1. A graduate with minimum three to four years’ experience working onsite at large corporate customer locations
  2. Minimum three years’ experience working in a matrix reporting structure; NIIT delivery and strategic sourcing practices along with L&D teams
  3. Minimum three years’ experience in managing sourcing activities – project manage, benchmark, supplier evaluation, etc., that will yield cost savings
  4. Proactive approach to delivering solutions, be innovative and challenge as required. Customer focused and commercially aware to deliver outstanding results
  5. Effective negotiation skills are an advantage, to support strategic sourcing and gain savings
