Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Unit Head of IT to lead our technological initiatives at Hospital in Baner, Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of information technology operations within the unit, ensuring the seamless functioning of IT systems, and driving digital transformation initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Leadership:

- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.

- Provide visionary leadership in the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance healthcare delivery and operational effectiveness.

IT Operations Management:

- Oversee the day-to-day IT operations, including network infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, and helpdesk support.

- Responsible for managing the complete IT Infrastructure of Baner Unit

- Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of IT systems and infrastructure to maintain uninterrupted healthcare services.

Digital Transformation:

- Lead digital transformation initiatives to leverage technology for improving patient care, clinical workflows, and administrative processes.

- Collaborate with clinical and administrative stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and implement technology solutions accordingly.

Vendor Management:

- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and solutions.

- Negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and drive continuous improvement in vendor relationships.

Compliance and Security:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data protection laws, and healthcare industry standards related to IT systems and patient information.

- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate risks of cyber threats and breaches.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

- Provide mentorship, coaching, and training to develop the skills and capabilities of IT staff Responsible for Vendor negotiation & coordination

- Manage hardware backups & Infrastructure network management

- Responsible for budget & financial adherence & control

- Manage data & system configuration

- Frequent Requirement Study(FRS) documentation in consultation with various stakeholders

- Security level development and design and authorization

- System and Inventory management and upgradation

- Act as a single point of contact for senior management interaction

- Long term team development - including hiring, training, additional load balancing and advanced systems handling

- Managing existing softwares at the Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT mid level roles, preferably in the healthcare industry.

- Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, electronic medical records (EMR), and clinical information systems.

- Proven track record of driving digital transformation initiatives and implementing innovative technology solutions.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) would be an advantage.
