Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer (Scala) with strong expertise in Big Data, Cloud, and Data Pipeline development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing large-scale data solutions and should be comfortable working in a collaborative, client-facing environment.Key Responsibilities : - Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data lake solutions.- Develop and optimize applications using Scala (or Java/Python when required).- Work extensively with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, and ADLS.- Implement solutions on cloud platforms (preferably Azure; AWS/GCP experience also considered).- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, availability, and reliability.- Integrate solutions with CI/CD pipelines and follow full SDLC best practices.- Troubleshoot and optimize performance of large datasets and distributed systems.Required Skills & Qualifications :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 6+ years of experience in software/data engineering and solution delivery.- Proficiency in Scala (with exposure to Java/Python).- Strong expertise in Big Data stack - Spark/Databricks, Hadoop/ADLS.- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable).- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and DevOps practices.- Proven ability to work with large-scale data processing and pipeline development.Nice-to-Have Skills :- Experience with Delta Lake and modern data lakehouse architectures.- Exposure to real-time data streaming tools (Kafka, Event Hubs, etc.).- Familiarity with Agile methodology and client engagement.Why Join Us ? - High-priority project with strong growth opportunities.- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge Big Data & Cloud technologies.- Collaborative work culture with a hybrid work model.
