GrowExx is seeking a Technical Lead – MERN, who will be working with cross-functional teams to define, design and deliver new features and adopt the best practices of TestDriven Development to guarantee robustness and stability of the code producedKey ResponsibilitiesOverall responsible on the Implementation part of the project i.e., getting things rightBe responsible to deliver the project assigned by working in conjunction with PO, L3 and ADMsAnalyse the user requirements, NFRs and technical requirements for the projectIdentify any unknowns i.e., missing scenarios, etc and consult with PO to ensure those are defined either as a User story or UACBreak down user stories along with the team to identify technical tasksProvide detailed estimates before the start of the sprints. Need to work with the Team to get the estimatesProactively pre-plan the sprints to achieve 90+% confidence of deliveryDelegate such tasks to L1s during the sprints and ensure those are completed. Identify any dependencies amongst the tasks and plan accordingly. Request help of ADMs if neededPerform code reviews for Self and L1 engineersProvide support to L1 engineers in completing their tasks. Ideally should enable L1s to do the tasks, rather than doing themselvesNurture & groom L1 engineers to become better at their workCreate technical documents as required for the project in JIRA, Confluence, or other toolsProvide POs and ADMs with daily updates of the team via Jira and SlackProvide HL estimates for any new projects by working closely with L3s, POs and ADMsProactively communicate with other members of the team and other project leadsProvide HR and Management with any relevant information to help improve organisation culture & performanceKey SkillsDeep understanding of OOPs, LinkedList, Data Structures, Inheritance, Encapsulation & AbstractionsStrong knowledge of any client-side framework i.e. React.Strong knowledge in JavaScript, JavaScript Design Patterns, ECMA 6 onwardsStrong knowledge of Node JS framework like Express JS / Loopback or any such is requiredStrong knowledge of HTML and CSSData base Knowledge of MySQL and / Or PostgreSQL or any RDBMS. Knowledge of NoSQL Databases like MongoDB / Couchbase is requiredKnowledge of Source code repository including Git, Bitbucket, Mercurial or anything similar is preferredKnowledge of IDE Tools Like: VSCode or any other IDE tool is preferredCan create DB Schema along with Data dictionary. Be able to normalise up to 3NF.Can handle Exceptions, can produce code level logs, be able to debug the defectsAbility to develop applications and APIs as per the Technical Document and Requirements given in Node JS, Express JS / Loopback etcDemonstrate info-security at the coding levelDemonstrate knowledge of performance impact of their codeAgile Estimation techniquesBasic Task Management & PlanningCan demonstrate JavaScript best practicesCan optimize the pages speed and can achieve 90% score in GTMatrix or Google Page SpeedBe able to work on website that supports multi-languagesEducation and ExperienceB Tech or B. E. 1st Class from top 100 institutions in India5-9 Years’ relevant experience
