Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and analyse Buying Grid (plan of what needs to be bought before commencement of the roadshow).
  • Grade and classify products for each store.
  • Prepare Planogram along with the Visual Merchandizing team.
  • Analyse top sellers and bottom sellers in stores.
  • Maximize sales by holding optimal levels of inventory.
  • Minimize returns from stores.
  • Plan for discounts in stores along with Operations and Buying team.
  • Plan for promotions according to stores.
  • Plan and monitor the Open to Buy (OTB) for the next season.
  • Prioritize OTB according to stores.
  • Provide OTB to the Buying team.
  • Design the weekly Fill rate.
  • Analyse sell-throughs (analyse customer buying patterns and predict future trends).
  • Provide recommendations to Planning and Operations team on promotion of products.
  • Adhere to the discount budgets and help in maximizing sales & adhere to guidelines for providing discounts in accordance with the budget provided for MRP and RRP
  • Participate in promotional events, road shows etc, Interact with Operations team and drive efficiencies through team collaboration.
  • Build a strong, customer focused team.
  • Organize training and development for the team.
  • Ensure the performance of the team is assessed periodically and provide adequate feedback.


Essential Qualification & Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Design from NIFT with 1 - 3 years of experience in Retail merchandise Planner for EBO Stores at Corporate Office.
  • Excellent Communication skills, Analytical skills, Execution Focus, Financial Acumen, Problem Solving.
  • Experience in fashion Retail / Branded Apparel industry experience.
  • A Commercial understanding of the dynamics of Stores, sales analysis.
