Responsibilities for accounts executive
- Reviewing, coding and approving Europe’s T&E (employee expenses)
- Ensuring that the corporate expenditure approval policy is being followed, and obtaining appropriate approval if necessary
- Liaising with vendors, vendor management and project managers to ensure that vendor queries are dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible and that payments are made timely
- Monitoring and control of aged payables ledger
- Reconciling vendor statements to accounts payable ledger on regular basis
- Approve Global finance pending APs in Gemini and load to General ledger
- Review Global vendor invoices pending PM approval and work with PMs in regards
- Assisting with other areas in the finance department as required
- Develop and implement key account plans in accordance with trade marketing & distribution strategy to meet targets
- Manage key account relationships and budgets for trade programmes, trading terms, promotional support and merchandising
Qualifications for accounts executive
- Keep Account Reps and Customer Service Manager informed of new business and provide a list of new vendors, lanes and weekly volume
- Work with Pricing Managers to obtain rates on requested new lanes and obtain Yield Management rates for specific areas
- Work with collections to make sure assigned accounts are paying within the terms of the contract and help to resolve any payment disputes
- Work with Pricing Administrators to insure accurate billing and make sure rates are published to match customer expectations
- Work with Intermodal and Truck Yield Managers to obtain specific lane rates to profitable standards and make sure that allocations are being met for each account
- Work with Integrated Capacity Solutions to secure extra capacity for market that van are short of equipment

- Once the National Sales team closes the business, the AE will work in tandem to successfully transition opportunities to the implementation team manage and grow account
- Set up customer to receive all publications and reports
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Accounts Receivable section
- Co-ordinate with sales in resolving problems concerning collection of guest account receivable
- Ascertain that all charges received for billings are accurate & have supporting documentations and should adhere to company’s policy and procedure
- Generate and send out invoices on a timely manner
- Immediately respond, check and process all customer refunds, voids and charge backs
- Ensure to process the third party claims and the maintenance, review, updating and collection of guest accounts in accordance with the credit policy
- Attend to customers’ queries
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure optimal efficiency
Qualifications for accounts executive
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to represent the company with the highest level of professionalism in all communications

- 2+ years experience in providing excellent customer service, problem identification and resolution, proven ability to communicate effectively
- Travel to accounts facilities to meet with key decision makers and discuss any issues that need to be resolved and bring up new opportunities for growth
- Talk with load planners and let them know the areas that have a need for loads
- Work with Marketing Directors to secure year round capacity for assigned accounts
