Job Posting – National Key Account Manager- Modern TradeLocation: Pan-IndiaWorking Days: 6 days a weekIndustry: Food & Beverage (FMCG)Channel Focus: Modern Trade onlyAbout the Role:We’re seeking a dynamic senior leader to own and drive our Modern Trade channel across India. You will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for national and regional organized retail chains (supermarkets/hypermarkets), securing growth, profitability and long-term partnerships.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a Modern Trade sales strategy aligned with company goals. - Own relationships with national and regional chains (e.g., D-Mart, Reliance Smart, More, Star Bazaar, Spencer’s) and manage Joint Business Plans (JBPs). - Launch new products, rationalize assortments, execute seasonal/holiday promotions and manage marketing calendars for MT. - Drive monthly, quarterly and annual sales & profitability targets, monitor off-takes, outlet penetration and category share, and use data analytics for corrective actions. - Collaborate with Supply Chain, Distribution and Sales teams to ensure product availability, fill-rate and effective store merchandising. - Lead and mentor team of ASMs, MT Executives and Merchandisers; coordinate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain functions. - Track competitor activity, pricing & promotion strategies; analyze consumer behaviour and category trends; provide actionable insights to senior management.Candidate Profile:- MBA or Postgraduate in Sales & Marketing preferred. - 10-12 years in FMCG sales in Food & Beverage sector, with at least 6-8 years focused on Modern Trade at national or regional level. - Proven track record in managing national Modern Trade accounts and delivering business growth. - Experience working with key chains such as D-Mart and/or Reliance Smart.How to Apply:Please send your updated resume on eshita.mogal@antal.com
