As part of the Governance & Compliance team, you will be responsible for compliance and risk management activities.
Thereby you will gain a deep understanding of the business practices including applicable systems, tools and procedures and become adept at identifying gaps and deficiencies.
Ultimately, you will contribute to sustain the reliable and legally compliant business conduct of the company.
Your Role:
As part of the Governance & Compliance team, you will:
- Drive the integration of compliance into the day-to-day operations and culture of the organization.
- Provide compliance training and support to teams worldwide, ensuring compliance awareness and competence.
- Coordinate auditing activities across different functions, support the auditees preparation and act as a trusted partner and consultant in the resolution of findings.
- Oversee and coordinate risk management activities incl. business continuity management, own and maintain regular risk reporting to senior management.
- Own the document management governance framework, maintain Global governance & procedural documents.
- Sustain and strengthen compliance to legal and company internal data privacy, data retention, information security and access management regulations, provide support to the organization, lead or coordinate related initiatives.
- Closely collaborate with company internal compliance and governance stakeholders to stay updated on new laws and regulations impacting the function.
- Manage and coordinate compliance issues, breaches, and investigations, providing timely reporting to senior management.
- Serve as a point of contact for compliance queries from within the organization.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in compliance practices.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), preferably in Business Administration, Compliance & Risk Management, Law, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in governance & compliance management incl. risk management, document management, data governance and audit coordination, preferably in a global business services environment.
- Experience in working with internal and external auditors.
- Familiarity with industry standard/frameworks such as ISO, SOX, COSO, IPPF.
- Strong understanding of international compliance laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, experience with SAP ERP is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills, cross-functional and customer orientation mindset, ability to build rapport with employees and managers on all levels.
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills and ability to achieve mission oriented and valued-based results.
- Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills; ability to complete multiple concurrent tasks within close deadlines, ability to influence without authority.
- Preferably with experience in project & change management.
- Fluent in business English or English native speaker.
