Your role in and as SAP SolMan Consultant:

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Solution Manager with specialized knowledge in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Change Request Management (ChaRM) to oversee and optimize our SAP Solution Manager environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing ALM processes and ChaRM functionalities to ensure efficient project management, change control, and system performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: But not limited to the following

1. Application Lifecycle Management (ALM):

• ALM Implementation: Oversee the setup and configuration of SAP Solution Manager’s ALM functionalities, including project management, requirements management, and test management.
• Process Optimization: Implement and refine ALM processes to ensure efficient project lifecycles, from planning through to delivery and maintenance.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration of ALM processes with other SAP modules and third-party tools to support end-to-end application management.

2. Change Request Management (ChaRM):

• ChaRM Administration: Configure, manage, and optimize the ChaRM module to handle change requests, transport management, and system landscape changes effectively.
• Process Management: Develop and enforce change management processes to ensure controlled and efficient handling of changes, including system transports and application updates.
• Compliance: Ensure that change management practices adhere to internal policies and external regulations.

3. Project Management:

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage projects involving the implementation or enhancement of Solution Manager, ALM, and ChaRM functionalities.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for ALM and ChaRM processes, including project plans, change request procedures, and system configurations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams, project managers, and business users to gather requirements and ensure Solution Manager meets business needs.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to users on ALM and ChaRM functionalities, ensuring they are effectively utilized and understood.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications or degrees are a plus.
• Should possed 5 to 8 years of experience with SAP Solution Manager, including hands-on experience with ALM and ChaRM.
• Proven track record of managing ALM processes and change management in SAP environments.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, ALM, and ChaRM.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP solutions is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of SAP system landscapes, transport management, and integration.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
