IT Asset Life Cycle management role, controls, and protects the organization's IT assets (Software & Hardware) throughout their life cycle, from acquisition through final disposition. In addition, designs, develops, and implements the organization's asset management strategy always ensuring compliance. As an Asset life cycle consultant, you will be responsible for coordinating maintaining End of life (EOL) and End of support (EOS), device policies, processes and supporting tools for software asset management.

In this role, you will:

  1. Responsible for managing lifecycle of IT assets (Software and Hardware) right from their introduction to their retirement.
  2. Design processes relating IT asset (Software and Hardware) management, execute and enhance them.
  3. Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management.
  4. Responsible for the governance concerning the ITAM tools applied in managing, monitoring, and reporting on IT assets (Software and Hardware) and inventory.
  5. Perform research on industry best practice and incorporate it with organizational practices.
  6. Manage activities concerning audits to be able to answer to queries from respective auditors effectively.
  7. Responsible for ensuring quality control throughout the lifecycle of all company IT assets by developing and implementing appropriate procedures to track and manage them.
  8. Manage inventory of assets, including dependencies and attributes, making sure that modifications, withdrawals, and additions of existing ones are correctly recorded by the teams in charge in the tools to ensure compliance.
  9. Identify savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and services. Follow through with vendors.
  10. Manage contracts and relationships to maximize value creation and costs for software licensing, maintenance, and service offerings.
  11. Collect information for budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contract summaries, and cost comparisons.
  12. Enter and maintain information in a database format to address budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contracts, and cost. Assist in the development of reporting to address management requirements to obtain information.
  13. Managing and Deployment Flexera agent and Beacon servers in Infrastructure.
  14. Interpret Flexera Software licensing report and prepare a report in presentable format to senior management.
  15. Ensure data accuracy and accurate metrics calculations for Software License Compliance, End of Support (EOS) and End of Life (EOL) assets by tracking remediation activitieswith various KPMG on-prem and Cloud teams and external vendors.
  16. Researching EOL issues/dates online to validate data from automated toolsets.
  17. Apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in tracking company assets throughout their lifecycle.
  18. Ensure effective management of the asset database and that the content contained is accurate
  19. Provide information and standardized reporting on a scheduled basis together with unscheduled reporting demanded by management
  20. Ability to find, assess and quantify risk. Define and implement respective risk mitigation procedures
  21. Generate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports and perform trend analyses


Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure and experience into Flexera/SNOW/SAM Pro and Qualys tool
  • IAITAM Certification, such as CHAMP, CSAM, and CITAM
  • Strong experience on Service now and Software Asset Management (Forecasting, Procurement, Deployment, Utilization, Maintenance & Disposal).
  • 4+ years of IT or professional experience with minimum of 2+ years’ experience into Software asset management
  • Strong Planning coordinating abilities, Work Ethics & Compliance undertaking. Well-structured, organized, committed and responsible.
  • Should have worked on a ticketing tool (Service Now, BMC Remedy, HP service management ticketing tool etc.).
  • Expertise in MS Office (Outlook, Excel & Power Point).
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English written and spoken.
  • Business understanding and ability to create results across business functions. Quality mind set and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with customers, department assistants across vendors
