Position : Lead/Sr SQL Developer

Location : Hyderabad, India – Hybrid model 3 days onsite

Contract to Hire – must be willing to convert

*Previous leadership experience is required*

NEW NOTES:

  • Experience with core SQL Database Design Principles
  • Strong SQL coding skills in Application Development. Not production focused
  • Experience with performance tuning of enterprise environments
  • Ability to walk and interviewer through how you would design a database at scale

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop logical and physical data models to support application requirements.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic between tables.
  • Collaborate with application developers to ensure efficient data access patterns and scalable database interactions.
  • Assist in scaling and managing the database from an application performance perspective.
  • Monitor and improve query performance, ensuring responsiveness under high load.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data access and modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with data modeling tools and performance tuning techniques.
  • Experience in environments with high concurrency and large-scale data access.
  • Exposure to business logic or financial systems is a plus but not required.
