What Are We Looking For:

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to drive revenue operations and strategic finance decisions as we scale rapidly. The ideal candidate will establish and optimize the finance vertical, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, managing cash flow, and supporting strategic initiatives. This role also involves handling MIS, investor reporting, and comprehensive financial management tasks.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build and Maintain Finance Systems:
  • Develop and implement key structures for financial operations and accounting best practices.
  • Establish systems for monthly reporting and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with auditors throughout the year and maintain key financial reports, including tracking operations to expense plans.
  • Manage and Strategize Revenue Operations:
  • Handle multiple revenue cycles and manage cash flow effectively.
  • Analyze and predict revenue cycles to ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Compliance Management:
  • Keep track of MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs), tax, and IRDA (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority) compliances to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulations to inform corporate finance decision-making.
  • MIS and Investor Reporting:
  • Prepare and present Management Information System (MIS) reports.
  • Manage investor reporting, providing accurate and timely financial updates.
  • Assist with all other financial tasks and reporting requirements for BimaKavach.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration and Mentoring:
  • Work closely with the operations team and management to drive revenue cycles and strategic decisions.
  • Maintain and monitor budget, burn rate, and other financial metrics.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 4+ years of proven experience as a finance professional handling company accounts, revenue cycles, budget management, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting (experience in the insurance sector preferred but not required).
  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing and setting up financial systems and tools for small to mid-sized companies.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee revenue numbers and cost drivers.
  • Analytical rigor to track and understand patterns of cash flow and budget management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
