Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong background in finance and accounting. The responsibilities will include managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and financial performance evaluation. Prepare reports and presentations based on the analysis to support decisionmaking.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes. Process invoices, verify transactions, and reconcile accounts. Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients/vendors for timely settlements.
  • Expense Management: Support the finance team in expense tracking, analysis, and cost control initiatives. Review and reconcile expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Financial Systems and Tools: Utilize financial software and tools effectively to perform financial tasks, maintain data integrity, and generate accurate reports. Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and processes.

Assist in maintaining compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation, explanations, and analysis.

  • Financial Planning: Contribute to financial planning activities, including longterm financial modeling, investment analysis, and risk assessment. Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices. Continuously enhance your financial knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling software.
  • Ability to work with large sets of financial data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
