About the Role :We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java development to lead our engineering team in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions.The ideal candidate will drive technical strategy, mentor developers, and ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and Responsibilities :- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications and services.- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and solution designs.- Guide and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.- Review code for quality, performance, and adherence to standards.- Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, and automated testing.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents.- Participate in architectural decisions and provide technical leadership for new projects and features.- Ensure software delivery is aligned with project timelines and quality expectations.- Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment and release cycles.- Stay current with emerging Java technologies and frameworks, recommending their adoption when Qualifications :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 6+ years of professional experience in Java development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.- Strong proficiency in Java SE and Java EE technologies, including frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and JPA.- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB).- Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle), version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to guide technical teams through complex challenges.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (ref:hirist.tech)
