Job Description :


The Associate Director of Engineering - Frontend Technologies will lead the frontend mobile apps and web for the Hotels Supply team, a critical unit within the Hotels technology division at MakeMyTrip. This team plays a pivotal role in enabling MakeMyTrip hotel partners to actively onboard, manage price/inventory, content, and track orders, and settlements. We are seeking a passionate leader who excels in building elegant and scalable technology :


- Lead and inspire a team of front-end mobile and web engineers within the Hotels Supply team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.


- Define and drive the technical roadmap and vision for mobile and front-end development.


- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and backend engineering, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


- Architect and design robust, scalable, and maintainable mobile frontend systems and components using React Native, Android/IOS, and React.js .


- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality front-end features and enhancements, leveraging best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.


- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency, reliability, and performance across front-end codebases.


- Provide technical leadership and guidance in resolving complex technical challenges, debugging issues, and optimizing front-end :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


- Proven experience (12+ years) in mobile and web frontend development, with expertise in React Native, Android, IOS, and React.js .


- Extensive experience in a leadership role overseeing front-end teams.


- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, and best practices for web and mobile platforms.


- Proficiency in building and deploying mobile applications using React Native, Android, and IOS with a focus on enhancing user experiences.


- Experience working in an agile development environment, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and iterative development.


- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


- Passion for building elegant and scalable technology solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth
