Role and the Person:
- The Position is at the level of the group and therefore is at the senior Management level, accordingly the purpose and critical functions would be as follows:
Function (Dept) Purpose:
- To ensure a consolidated and comprehensive response to taxation issues
Role Purpose:
- To provide a responsive taxation service
- To facilitate legal compliance and leverage (for all functions and businesses, in all aspects of their functioning)

The Person:
- CA with Legal orientation.
- LLB degree would be desirable.
- Corporate experience of at least 20 years with 5 years in a senior management position in the Taxation and Legal functions of a mid-sized firm.
- Experience in a multi-business firm would be an added advantage
