[VinFast Global Manufacturing in India] Facilities Management Lead

Job Summary:
VinFast, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Facilities Management Lead to join our growing team. In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by overseeing all aspects of facility management, including layout optimization, equipment standardization, and adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Factory Optimization:
- Conduct comprehensive appraisals of factory layouts, facilities, and landscapes, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, functionality, and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize factory layouts, ensuring optimal workflow, material flow, and production capacity.
- Oversee landscaping projects to create a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing work environment.
Equipment Standardization:
- Lead the standardization of factory equipment, including power stations, air compressors, central air conditioners, gas systems, and employee mobility options.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment functionality and lifespan.
- Manage vendor relationships for equipment procurement and maintenance services.
Environmental & Safety Compliance:
- Implement and maintain environmental hygiene standards throughout the factory, adhering to all local and national regulations.
- Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of canteen and office equipment, ensuring a clean and comfortable work environment for employees.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and develop protocols to mitigate potential hazards and maintain a safe work environment.
Project Management:
- Manage facility management projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and human resources, to ensure alignment with overall facility goals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to facility management activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successfully optimizing factory layouts and implementing equipment standardization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of environmental and safety regulations related to manufacturing facilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software (ideally).
