About the Role:We are looking for aSenior Quality Engineerwho embodies the principles ofSoftware Craftsmanship— caring about code quality, professionalism, and continuous learning. In this role, you willlead quality initiatives , shape testing strategies, and mentor other QAs while collaborating with developers and product partners in anExtreme Programming (XP)environment.Responsibilities: Lead and own QA effortsfor complex, distributed, microservice-based applications. Design, develop, and maintainscalable automated test suitesfor UI, API, and microservice layers. Perform and guide the team infunctional, regression, integration, contract, performance, and exploratory testing . Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product managers todefine quality criteria, acceptance tests, and automation strategies upfront . Mentor and coach junior QA engineers,instilling best practices in automation, test design, and XP-aligned collaboration . Contribute tocontinuous improvementof QA frameworks, processes, and tools — with an eye for simplicity, feedback, and maintainability. Advocate forperformance, resilience, and security testingas first-class citizens in the development lifecycle. Be acatalyst for quality culture , helping the team embrace collective ownership and professional pride in delivery.Must-Have Skills: 5+ yearsHands-on expertise inSelenium with Javafor UI automation. Strong experience inAPI testing (Rest Assured) . Proven experience inmicroservice testing(integration, contract, and fault tolerance). Knowledge ofperformance and security testing practices . Excellent communication skills with the ability tocollaborate, influence, and mentor effectively .
