This role will be responsible for ensuring timely, compliant, and efficient manning of vessels through effective coordination with clients, crew, and operational teams.What You Will DoIn this role, you will:- Liaise and plan with clients on crew deployment requirements for assigned vessels. - Ensure vessels are manned with qualified, medically fit, and experienced crew as per client and regulatory requirements. - Verify that all crew hold valid mandatory certificates and documents appropriate to their ranks. - Coordinate with training teams to ensure crew complete all required and value-added courses prior to joining. - Build and maintain a high-quality pool of marine crew and officers. - Conduct preliminary assessments, interviews, and shortlisting for final selection. - Manage personnel mobilization and demobilization, ensuring proper medical checks, travel, visa, and accommodation arrangements within budget. - Oversee smooth logistics for crew sign-on and sign-off activities, including coordination with port agents. - Ensure proper orientation, familiarization, and pre-joining briefings for all joining crew. - Handle medical emergencies, coordinate follow-up, and prepare medical dockets for submission to P&I Clubs. - Ensure accurate implementation of wage settlements and welfare schemes. - Plan and execute crew relief schedules in a timely and efficient manner. - Maintain up-to-date crew databases including personal, medical, training, and certification records. - Ensure compliance with Company Manning Office (CMO) policies and procedures. - Stay updated with industry regulations including STCW, flag state, and union requirements. - Process invoices and coordinate with accounts for timely vendor payments. - Support the Manager – Fleet Personnel and act as a backup for related functions when required.What We Are Looking For- Mandatory Qualification: Marine COP Deck/Engineer Officer or Graduate. - Experience: 3–7 years in fleet personnel or marine manning, preferably with oil tanker exposure. - Ex-seafarers with hands-on crewing experience are strongly preferred. - Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Familiarity with crewing systems, regulatory requirements, and STCW conventions. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within timelines.What You Can Expect- Be part of a globally recognized marine operations and manning organization. - A role where your maritime experience directly supports safe and efficient vessel performance. - Opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative, safety-driven environment. - A culture grounded in trust, innovation, care, and continuous improvement.As an Assistant Manager – Fleet Personnel, your leadership and attention to detail will ensure that our vessels remain safely and efficiently manned with world-class professionals.
