We offer deep sector expertise across a full range of products and services in investment banking, equities, fixed income, asset and wealth management in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East and Asia.Position Overview: As an Analyst in our Investment Banking team, you will play a critical role in executing transactions and providing financial advisory services for clients across Asia with a focus on India domestic deals. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile deals, develop key relationships with clients, work with the globally renowned Jefferies consumer and Industrial sector team and contribute to the growth and success of our investment banking franchise in India.Key Responsibilities:Develop complex financial analysis, valuation, and modeling to support deal execution.- Manage due diligence processes, communications and interaction with deal team members and other advisors. - Perform comprehensive and in-depth industry and market research, and company analysis within consumer and Industrial industry. - Assist in the preparation of pitch materials, presentations, and marketing materials for client meetings. - Collaborate with senior team members in deal origination, structuring, and negotiation. - Support the execution of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and capital raising activities, and other financial transactions.Requirements:- Post graduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines - 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields, working on consumer and Industrial transactions - Solid understanding of the consumer and Industrial sector - Strong financial modeling and valuation skills - Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Fluency in English is a mustAt Jefferies, we believe that diversity fosters creativity, innovation and thought leadership through the infusion of new ideas and perspectives.
