Position : Enterprise Release Manager

Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Release Manager with 10+ years of hands-on experience in orchestrating software releases within large-scale, complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a meticulous planner, and a skilled communicator who can bridge technical and business priorities to ensure seamless, high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and coordinate end-to-end release planning, scheduling, and execution across multiple enterprise systems and platforms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, operations, and business stakeholders to align release activities with organizational objectives.

- Implement and optimize release management processes, ensuring adherence to SDLC, Agile, and DevOps best practices.

- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and environment management.

- Identify and mitigate release-related risks, ensuring minimal impact on production systems.

- Provide governance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives for release operations.

Essential Skills & Experience :

- Strong command of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.

- Proven track record in managing complex, multi-platform release cycles in enterprise environments.

- Proficiency with release management tools, CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), version control systems (e.g., Git), and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and configuration management.

- Competence in scripting/automation (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell) to streamline release processes.

- Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks for service management.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL Expert, or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE).

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, with experience working across distributed teams.
