We're seeking a talented Engineering Manager to join our full-stack team focused on driving the growth of our existing financial products. You'll leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to architect innovative solutions and guide your team in delivering projects across the entire spectrum - short-term sprints, mid-range initiatives, and long-term strategic endeavors.

What you will do:

- Collaborate closely with business, product, and engineering teams to translate goals into clear and actionable engineering roadmaps.

- Lead the charge on defining and executing strategic engineering plans for your assigned areas, ensuring efficient project delivery.

- Champion a culture of excellence by establishing and maintaining robust production systems, encompassing both technical infrastructure and operational processes.

- Take ownership of your team's projects, fostering the technical health and success of our financial products.

- Build a best-in-class engineering team through strategic recruitment, mentorship, and professional development programs.

You'll excel in this role if you possess:

Technical Proficiency:

- Extensive experience with web application frameworks like JAVA Spring, Spring boot.

- Proficiency in programming languages including Kotlin, Java, PHP.

- In-depth knowledge of datastores like Maria DB, Oracle.

- Familiarity with communication protocols like HTTP, Kafka, Amazon SQS, or Amazon SNS.

- Mastery in server management tools like Amazon ECS and Docker.

Leadership and Management:

- Proven ability to manage and inspire a team of technical professionals.

- Strong project management skills with a history of delivering projects on time and within scope.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

- Understanding of basic programming principles like SOLID and TDD.

Qualifications:

- 9+ years of software engineering experience, with a significant portion leading technical teams.

- A successful track record of team management, project execution, and stakeholder engagement.

- Proven experience in designing and developing complex solutions, including large-scale distributed systems.

- A history of building and managing high-performing software development teams.

- Experience driving design and architecture decisions with senior team members.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise presentations of technical information.

- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment (a plus).
