QualificationsB. Tech (Civil / Agri Engineering) or Diploma in civil/agri engineering (with 3 years’ working experience) or equivalent.07 years’ experience in project designing and implementation of the project. Preference will be given for experience in External Aided Project.Responsibilities●Coordinate with line agencies for post-harvest infrastructure development;● To understand and assist in designing and preparing realistic estimate for the Horticulture related infrastructures like poly house, hi tech nursery, pack house etc based on the need of the stakeholders,● To assist in designing and preparing realistic estimate for the poly tunnel in consultation with the horticulture personnel in PMU/DIU● To carefully study and design the irrigation infrastructure and preparing realistic estimate based on seismic zones for the creation of surface tank etc in the project districts in consultation with Dept of irrigation.●To prepare packages for getting approval of procurement with acceptable design along with suitable justification to convince the PMU and donor.●Assist in preparation of supply chain development plan with FPO;●Preparation of Annual Action Plan, track of disbursements and obtain UC/SOE on monthly basis●Assist in procurement of contactors/suppliers for post-harvest infrastructure development;●Review and assist to modify the prepared design of post-harvest infrastructure development and improvement of facilities;●Technical guidance on post-harvest development; and●Evaluation of proposals submitted by entrepreneurs for various infrastructure.●Preparation of information / report / road map etc. as per directions of Project Management Unit & JICA.●Preparation of estimates and financial recommendation for same at time of disbursement of Funds.●To provide assistance in infrastructure development in project area related to PHM, water conservation and allied activities.● To provide assistance to infrastructure engineers in districts for preparation of estimates and measurement works.Any other work assigned by authorities of Project
