Network Infrastructure Manager

We are looking for aNetwork Infrastructure Managerto oversee our client’s network operations — ensuring setup, maintenance, reliability, and performance optimization to support high-speed trading activities. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage the firm’s network infrastructure to deliverhigh availability, low latency, and strong security . Collaborate with trading, systems, and development teams to meet the stringent demands of algorithmic trading and maintainseamless exchange connectivity . Design and deploy network infrastructure incolocation environmentsfor low-latency exchange connections. Architect and maintaininter- and intra–data centernetwork infrastructure. Developscalable and resilientnetwork architectures to support business growth. Optimize network performance acrossLAN, WAN, and data centerenvironments. Oversee daily network operations to ensure24/7 availabilityand minimal downtime. Manage network hardware, includingswitches, routers, and firewalls , across multiple data centers. Leadincident responsefor network issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing preventive solutions. Build and maintainreal-time monitoring and performance analysis tools . Fine-tune configurations to minimizepacket loss, latency, and jitter , and maximize throughput. Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhanceefficiency and reliability . Ensure network security throughfirewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems . Partner with compliance teams to maintainregulatory adherence . Implement best practices to securesensitive trading data and infrastructure . Work closely with trading, development, and systems teams to align network design withtrading strategies . Maintaincomprehensive documentationfor network architecture, configurations, and incident resolutions. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Information Technology , or related field. Certifications such asCCNP ,CCIE , or equivalent. Experience withcolocation data centersandexchange connectivity . Proven background inlow-latency network infrastructure , ideally within thefinancial industry . Deep understanding ofnetwork protocols, routing, and switching(BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Multicast). Hands-on experience withCisco, Arista, and Junipernetwork equipment. Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g.,Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios ). Familiarity withcloud networkingandhybrid architectures(AWS, Azure). Experience withautomation toolssuch asAnsibleandPython scripting . Stronganalytical, problem-solving, and communicationskills. Provenleadership experiencemanaging and mentoring a network operations team.
