Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Design Engineers with a strong background in furniture design and proficiency in CAD software. The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 4-8 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, particularly using 2D and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop furniture products from concept through to production.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D designs and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure design specifications are translated into functional, manufacturable products.
- Conduct material selection and analysis to ensure durability and sustainability.
- Implement design changes and improvements based on feedback from stakeholders and testing results.
- Manage multiple projects, adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and materials.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the furniture industry or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
- Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to furniture design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
