So, what’s the role all about?

We are seeking an experienced US Payroll Accountant to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees.


How will you make an impact?

Payroll Processing: Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries - processed twice a month.

System Management: Update the payroll system (ADP) and other external providers on New Hires, Terms and variables (bonuses, commissions, overtime etc.).

Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, compensation details, tax withholdings, and benefits information. Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data.

Employee Services: Support, manage and resolve US employee’s payroll related queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Review and Reconciliations: Conduct Bi-monthly reviews and reconciliations of payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Projects and Audits: Assist with special projects, year-end reconciliation, W-2’s and audits.

Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Prepare and submit required payroll reports and filings, including tax withholdings, social security, unemployment, and other regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve payroll processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices and stay updated on industry trends and changes.

Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll with other business processes and systems.

Have you got what it takes?

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, with a strong understanding of US payroll laws and regulations.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software – ADP a must and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with payroll system implementations and upgrades is a plus.

Time Zone: Support US time zone


You will have an advantage if you also have:

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred but not required.
