About the RoleExpertise in database administration in Production, Testing, and Development environments, such as configuration, Monitoring, Security, Performance Tuning, Authentication, and Troubleshooting.SQL Server database administration, configuration, load balancing, performance tuning, backup and recovery.Responsibilities- Strong Hands-on experience in SQL Server/EC2/RDS SQL Server Administration on premise and AWS. - Strong hands-on SQL Server experience and expertise in AWS migration. - Strong hands-on Redshift and Postgresql. - Strong hands-on experience in EC2 SQL Server/RDS SQL Server. - Strong hands-on experience in HA/DR strategies Clustering, Always On Availability Group (AAG), Distributed Availability group(DAG), SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). - Hands-on experience in Powershell Automation. - Extensively worked on High Availability solutions like Always ON, clustered environment & Replication and all replication types. - Hands-on experience in performance tuning, optimization, indexing, configuration and managing databases. - Working experience in AWS cloud environment and S3, FSx. - Must be detail oriented and possess analytical and strong problem-solving skills. - Demonstrates excellent communication, time management, and technical presentation skills. - Create logins & users and fix any issues and Monitoring & fixing alerts. - Ability to provide on-call support during off-business hours on regular days and the weekends. - Experience with SQL Sentry and other monitoring tools.
